Zhejiang Chint Cable Co. Ltd is a subsidiary of Chint Group specialized in producing in electric wires and cables, with a registered capital of 200 million Yuan and total assets of 600 million Yuan. The company occupied a land area of over 600,000㎡. The main products of the company are power cables, installation wires, photovoltaic cables, electric motor appliance wires, frequency converter cables, wind energy cables, low smoke and halogen-free cables, fire resistant cables, general rubber insulated cables, rail transit cables, elevator cables, prefabricated branch cables, aluminum alloy cables, photoelectric composite cables, mine cables, and cable accessories. Products vary in more than twenty different series. The company has more than 400 employees, of whom, 15% are engineers with higher educations, 10% are technicians with professional titles, and 3% are managers with senior professional titles and postgraduate certificates. In 2014, the company invested 100 million Yuan and set up Chint cable western area factory (Shanxi Chint Cable Co. Ltd) in Xianyang city, Shanxi province. The purpose is to satisfying speedy market development and providing local service. The new factory occupies a land area 200,000㎡, and the production is estimated over 3 billion.

The company imported superior production equipment, such as the three layer co-extrusion high voltage cross-linked wire and the online derivometer from SIKORA AG company, set up advanced-level laboratory, installed partial discharge detection system, rigorously followed the GB standard and IEC standard of testing requirement and procedures, and satisfied the quality supervision control of each section from input raw material to output complete products. Since 2006, the company invented the low-voltage bipolar and unipolar cables, visual spiral medium voltage overhead cables with support line, comprehensive waterproof visual spiral medium voltage underground cables, and photovoltaic cables. Inventions passed international certification, for example, Holand KEMA, Italy SGS, and the United States UL certification.
